Pete McCormick joined Maveron as a partner in 2000 and leads the administration of Maveron’s partnerships, including all limited partner matters, and assists with the evaluation and structuring of portfolio investments and exits. As an advisor to Maveron, and a resource for our portfolio companies, he invariably offers a valuable and creative perspective on a wide variety of issues. Prior to Maveron, Pete was a partner and a member of the managing board of directors of the Seattle law firm Graham & Dunn. During his 19-year legal career, he helped a wide variety of businesses resolve disputes in the areas of contracts, acquisitions, securities, intellectual property, licensing, trade secrets, and employment matters. He is a recipient of the Professionalism Award from the Washington State Bar Association, Young Lawyers’ division. Pete currently serves on the GameLogic, Knowledge Networks and TerraPass boards. He holds a BA in economics, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Washington, and a JD degree with honors.
