Peter Polydor

Peter Polydor is Director at ERGO Capital Partners (“ERGO”), a private merchant bank focused on companies in high-growth technology sectors. At ERGO, Peter focuses on new investments and portfolio management within the technology, media and energy sectors. Currently he sits on the Board of Directors of ecoPHYSI and Wikipad.

Prior to ERGO, Peter was Vice President at SAIL Capital Partners, a cleantech venture capital firm headquartered in California. While at SAIL, Peter reviewed new investment opportunities, accelerated business plans and opened new markets by developing strategic partnerships for SAIL.

Outside of investment management, Peter conducted market research at Citigroup, policy research at the US House of Representatives, was involved in operations and management of a privately owned real estate development firm as well as started, built and sold a web-services company.

Further to his work at ERGO, he serves on the Occidental College Board of Governors, American Hellenic Council Board of Directors, OCTANe Leadership Council, a Charter Member of the Canadian C100, a member of Orange County Young Executives and sits on the Investment Committee of the MaRS Investor Accelerator Fund. Peter was an Edmonson Fellow at the University of Southern California and is a graduate of Occidental College where he earned a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on Energy. Peter is a dual citizen of Greece and Canada and is able to converse in both Spanish and Greek.
