Peter Hinssen is an entrepreneur, lecturer and writer.
Peter was the founder of eCOM of the first European Internet ventures, which was sold to Alcatel in 1999.
He is the founder of Porthus.com (www.porthus.com), a SaaS player in the world of Global Trade Management, and of which he is still the chairman of the board. Porthus is quoted on the Brussels Stock Exchange (ticker EBR:ALPTH).
He was an entrepreneur in Residence with McKinsey & Company, a contributing writer for WiReD magazine, and the author of ‘Business/IT Fusion’.
He is currently the CEO of Across Technology, one of Europe’s most prominent IT Strategy firms.
