Peter Hershberg

Peter Hershberg is an entrepreneur, company advisor, and active angel investor, who has successfully founded, funded, and exited several start-ups during his 15 year career in online advertising and technology.

Peter Co-Founded leading search and social media marketing firm, Reprise Media, in February, 2003 and served as Co-Chief Executive Officer until December, 2009. Reprise Media represents the SEM/SMM efforts of some of the world’s largest brands, including Microsoft, Castrol, Aflac, and Hyundai. Forrester Research called Reprise Media “search marketing’s biggest breakout star” in 2006. That same year, OMMA named it Search Agency of the Year. The company was self-funded and acquired by Interpublic Group (NYSE:IPG) in April, 2007.

From April, 1999 to February, 2002, Peter served as the Vice President of Strategic Development at Ask.com, a leading search engine. In this role, he created long-term strategies and functioned as a key decision maker in the company’s new business ventures. He was also the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rotomedia, a consulting and advertising firm for web marketers and publishers. The company had a core competency in search engine optimization and was acquired by Ask Jeeves in April, 1999.

Peter was named as a finalist at Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2005 and 2007.
