Peter Grauer is the Founder of DLJ Investment Partners and DLJ Merchant Banking Partners. Grauer served as Managing Director and Senior Partner at Credit Suisse Private Equity, LLC until March 2002. He served at Victor Technologies Group Inc. He served as Managing Director of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (now Credit Suisse (USA), Inc.) and DLJ Merchant Banking Partners from 1992 to 2000.

He served as Managing Director and senior partner of CSFB Private Equity until 2002. He joined Bloomberg full time as President and Chief Executive Officer in March 2002. He has been the Chairman of Bloomberg L.P. since March 2001. He serves as Chairman of Bloomberg Inc., the parent company of Bloomberg, LP. Grauer serves as the President of the Board of Trustees of the Inner City Scholarship Fund in New York City.

He serves as Chairman Emeritus and Director of The Big Apple Circus, Ltd. and Chairman of the External Advisory Board of the Undergraduate Honors Program and the Johnson Center for Undergraduate Excellence at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He serves as President of the Pomfret School Board of Trustees. He served as Co-Chairman of Grauer & Wheat, Inc. He serves on the Board of the USA Cycling Development Foundation, Prostate Cancer Foundation and of Rockefeller University. Grauer has been a Member of the Board at Bloomberg L.P. since October 1996. He serves as a Director of U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Challenger Capital Group, Ltd. He serves as a Director of FM Holdings Inc and Laminates Acquisition Co.
