Prior to MediaTrust, Mr. Bordes spent much of his career in banking and venture capital and was a founder of Mason Cabot investment bank, which specialized in early stage media and technology financing. Mr. Bordes was also a founder and chairman of the board of Empire Media, Inc., a publishing, marketing, and technology enterprise based in New York. Empire Media incubated and founded Find.com - the first “True Business Search” engine, and Advaliant, an online performance marketing advertising network which has become the MediaTrust performance marketing platform . He is also a Founding Charter Member and on the Board of Directors of the PMA Performance Marketing Association. He is a leader in the interactive performance media & marketing industry and speaks at industry events such as ad:tech, PubCon, AffCon, SES Search Engine Strategies & the Performance Marketing Leadership Summit
Currently Mr. Bordes is an investor and serves on the boards of or is an adviser to a number of traditional, new media, and technology companies, such as Internet Media Labs, PeekYou.com people search engine & data visualization analytics.
