Peter Boboff

Peter is currently a Managing Partner at Transmedia Capital, a seed stage venture fund focused on digital media and cloud companies. He is also a Co-Founder of Kicklabs, an early stage accelerator based in San Francisco. Peter has been at the forefront of the Internet’s development since he started his career in 1985 as a network engineer developing IP-based router technologies. He founded three technology companies and has been in the early stage venture business for more than 14 years. Peter has invested in more than 50 startups including top search engines Baidu (China) and Yandex (Russia), C2B (Inktomi), Trigo (IBM), Sandpiper (Digital Island) and more recently: TrialPay, Domo, Kiip, and RealGravity. Peter was the founder and CEO of Pakana Corporation, a venture funded company focused on the B2B Internet market. In 1998, he was a Managing Partner at Whittman-Hart (WHIT), a $1 billion global IT solutions provider. Prior, he was a founder and CEO of Axis Consulting, a leading systems integrator specializing in Internet and ERP solutions, which was acquired by Whittman-Hart in 1997 in a deal valued at $60M. After relocating to the US from Australia, Peter began working at Charles Schwab & Co as a network design consultant. He holds a BS degree in Mathematics from the Western Australian Institute of Technology. When he is not focused on his technology investments, Peter is most passionate about his family, wine, food, skiing, aussie football and fly-fishing.
