(June 2011 Edition - A Latin American equivalent to INC or Fast Company)
He is the first international student to attend Boulder Digital Works, a graduate school based in Boulder, Colorado that exists to build the next generation of digital professionals. He’s from Brazil and before moving to the States was the head of marketing and PR for Mediamind (Nasdaq: MDMD) in Sao Paulo.
Pedro received a bachelor’s in journalism from Mackenzie University and teaches PR 2.0 and social media classes at Sao Paulo Digital School. Prior to working with Mediamind, he acted as head of communications in Brazil for a Dutch start-up called Nimbuzz.com (U$26 MM Funding) and worked as a marketing intern for Aunica, a digital media consulting firm.
Pedro doesn’t believe in the separation of work and pleasure, but instead he believes in mixing them into one solid thing called life. He dedicates his time to being 1% better everyday. Interested mostly in digital business, he plays hard and works harder. He considers himself a person fueled by purpose instead of revenue, as money is a mere consequence of excellence.
