Paul is a senior media executive who has worked in the digital space in the UK and Europe since 1997.
Paul spent 11 years at BSkyB (1989 - 1999) working across all advertising related aspects of the company from TV advertising to internet.
He then worked at Sports.com(1999 - 2002) the Pan European start up backed by CBS Sportsline , Reuters and many others. Here he created and ran the successful sales and marketing team as VP of Sales and Marketing - which not only generated significant revenues but used smart marketing techniques to draw people online from offline media.
After Sports.com went bust, Paul then set up Aura Sports a vertical premium ad network that represented major sports rights holders - 95 % of the Top 4 Leagues of Football Clubs , ESPN and many others. The business was sold in 2006 to BSKYB(www.sky.com).
Paul returned to to Sky to run the newly created Sky Digital Media Team.
In 2008 Paul left Sky and in 2009 worked for Bauer Media - the large UK Media Group - as Digital Director and was responsible for the teams that relaunched sites, built iphone apps, implemented SEO best practice and developed long term digital strategies.
In 2010 Paul worked for ADTECH as VP Commercial for EMEA before leaving and becoming a full time consultant and advisor.
Paul currently advises for Mobile Interactive Group and video ad network Web TV Enterprise ( www.webtventerprise.com) , as well as working for some high profile digital businesses in the area of commercial development and strategy.
Paul recently was involved in the purchase of Web TV by Collective(www.collective.com) in March 2011.
