Paul Shelton grew up in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. He is a 1976 graduate of Willowbrook High School in Villa Park. He graduated with a Degree in Mathematics from Knox College in Galesburg and earned his J.D. Degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Paul worked as a computer consultant while going to law school in the evening. He was a Fortran IV, UNIX/C programming specialist and consulted for such corporate giants as MCI, Sears, Esmark, Beatrice and McDonalds as he earned his way through law school.
Paul currently practices defense litigation in mortgage related litigation. From 1985 to 1997, Paul concentrated his law practice on computer-related litigation, real estate closings and investment, business planning, Plaintiff’s personal injury and contract litigation.
Paul is also an inventor, holding a patent in a toy product that sold in excess of 11 million units. He was featured on the cover of the July 1997 issue of Crain’s Chicago Business, in an article discussing a 100 million dollar toy industry.
Paul is also student of Utah’s Douglas R. Andrew, best-selling author of “Missed Fortune” and “Last Chance Millionaire.” Paul has presented numerous seminars regarding the pursuit of True Wealth and Management using real estate, insurance and financial tools.
Paul lives in the Western Suburbs of Chicago with his wife and five children. He played division III baseball and football at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois and was All-Midwest Conference in football as a receiver and kick returner. He is an active board member with the Hinsdale Little League and is a volunteer coach for football, basketball and baseball in his town. Paul is an award winning Chicago Runners Association Masters runner and has actively supported such charities as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training® (TNT), Make-A-Wish, Misericordia and The Muscular Dystrophy Association.
