Paul joined NEA in 2003 and is a Partner in our Menlo Park office. He focuses on partnering with imaginative entrepreneurs who are building the next generation marketplaces and platforms.
He currently works with SayMedia, Houzz, Evernote, Elance, Dreamfactory, Boingo, and 42Floors.
Historically, he was involved with Gaikai (acquired by Sony in 2012), 3Jam (acquired by Skype in 2011), Luminary Micro (acquired by TI in 2009), Spreadtrum (IPO in 2007), Salesforce (IPO in 2005), Actions Semi (IPO in 2005), and Atheros (IPO in 2004).
Prior to NEA, Paul co-founded Mazu Networks in 2000, financed by Benchmark, Greylock, and Matrix; Mazu was later acquired by Riverbed Technology.
Paul was a Kauffman Fellow and graduated from MIT and Harvard Business School.
