I’m a New Markets Producer at General Assembly, a global campus for technology, design, and business education. I’m focused on building local partnerships, growing the overall community, and leading the Web Dev Immersive program in San Francisco.
Previously, I was the Director of Marketing and Communications at HotPads.com, a leading housing search engine with over 6 million monthly users. HotPads was acquired by Zillow. At HotPads I was responsible for consumer marketing, product marketing, managing external communication strategy, and business development. I also produced regular national housing market reports which were covered by CNN, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, NPR, and other major publications.
Prior to HotPads, I lead the business plan competition at the London School of Economics, worked as a Regional Director of Information and Communication Policy at the US Department of State, and researched microfinance at the World Bank. I was also a founding member of Sandbox-Network and started the local hub in Washington DC.
