Paul Fremantle spent 10 years working for IBM as a technical architect before leaving to set up the Open Source SOA startup - WSO2 - in 2005. Paul is a member of the Apache Software Foundation and VP of the Apache Synapse project. An expert on reliable messaging and lightweight SOA, Paul was recently named one of the top 25 CTOs by Infoworld.
Paul is the co-chair of the OASIS WSRX committee and a blogger, author and presenter on Open Source, SOA and middleware. Paul led the creation of the WSO2 software platform. He also plays the tin whistle.
