Paolo Barberis is Chairman and Founder of Dada, a global leader in online advertising and Web services. Dada is specialized in creating innovative digital solutions: Digital Music, Mobile Applications, Mobile Services and Social Communities.
In business since 1995 although the idea behind Dada began in 1992, Dada was the first company in Italy to foster the development of the Net, helping millions of Italian users discover the Internet. Dada offered users new ways of experiencing and interpreting the Net, making the internet a natural meeting place.
In 1999 Dada created superEva (www.superEva.it), a historic place on the Italian Net. From the beginning, superEva went far beyond the concept of portal and brought together a large community of loyal followers.
Paolo also contributed to the establishment of the main Internet associations in Italy; in 1998 as founder and board member of the Italian sector of the IAB (Internet Advertising Bureau) and in 1999 as co-founder of the Italian chapter of ISOC (Internet Society).
Paolo has made Dada what it is today: Starting as a little project inside the walls of the university, Dada is now an international company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange with more than 600 employees across Florence, Milan, Bergamo, New York, Barcelona, Paris, London, Worcester and Rio de Janeiro.
