Following 12 years as Java Developer, IT Analyst, R&D Software Engineer, developing his own startups and as IT Consultant, Oscar is an experienced Software Engineer, and has created solutions fot the Desktop, the Web and Mobiles using proprietary and Open Source technologies such as Java, JQuery, XML, Javascript, HTML5, PHP, Abobe ColdFusion, iOS, Google services and technologies such as Apps, App Engine, GWT, Maps and Android. He has worked for prestigious companies and organizations in various countries across the American Continent such as DataSoft, TACA Airlines, EQUIFAX, ACF Technologies, Inc and the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC.
Oscar believes technology must be used to share knowledge and help people to expand their mind and reach their maximum potential; he founded JUGsv (Java User Group) at El Salvador, recently co-founded GTUG El Salvador (Google Technology User Group) where he serves as an occasional Speaker/Blogger and the award-winning Mentoring for El Salvador program where he served as Technical Co-Founder and serves as Technology Advisor.
Oscar is currently focused on Geopon a mobile Couponing and Loyalty Rewards startup based in the United States where he serves as Technical Co-Founder and CTO.
