Onur Mergen joined Sermo, Inc. in 2007 as a Software Architect and was quickly promoted to Director of Engineering and again to VP of Engineering. A key player in driving adoption of agile methodologies, state-of-the-art engineering practices and Ruby-on-Rails at Sermo, he’s also personally overseen a massive and very successful project to overhaul Sermo’s entire technology platform.
Onur has nearly 15 years of experience building complex software solutions at internet-focused, venture funded start-ups.
Onur holds a BS degree from Bogazici University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
