Ohad Eder Pressman is a creative incubator and developer-at-large.
As a teenager, Ohad was active in the computer-art subculture known as the international demoscene, developing the 3D rendering engines that powered multiple award-winning applications. He later designed software for the Israeli Air-Force’s F15 flight simulation lab, and created the top-selling Checkers and Blackjack games for the Palm, PocketPC, and Blackberry platforms.
Ohad was also a core member of BeInSync’s Software-Engineering team, designing, building, and delivering the company’s UI rendering engine and synchronization algorithms, prior to its successful acquisition by Phoenix Technologies. More recently, Ohad directed bespoke projects for larger clients through his high-end consulting/engineering firm 3D3R Software Studio. Completed works include overseeing development of Nokia’s mobile advertising network, and integrating Yahoo’s del.icio.us social bookmarking service into Internet Explorer.
Ohad was recently recognized as one of Israel’s top 5 developers by TheMarker Magazine; he currently works and plays in San Francisco while building and evangelizing Appsto.com which builds tools for Mobile developers.
