Nikita Lukianets
Nikita Lukianets is a professional in new product development. The role of his team is to increase platform adoption and enrich hi-tech ecosystem by connecting all players in the field - companies, start-ups, incubators, accelerators, venture funds and private investors. At the moment, he leads program management for Microsoft BizSpark and helps technology start-ups with newest methods, technologies and tools to accelerate their businesses.
Before joining Microsoft, his career path travelled from research in neuroscience to tech entrepreneurship. He has received fundamental education in the field of Applied Physics (Kyiv Polytechnic Institute) and completed his master thesis working in Institute of Physiology in Kyiv. In the lab he worked to to understand behavior of specific gene tagged proteins that could facilitate mechanisms of human’s associative memory. There he developed mathematical model for HPCA protein dynamics in brain neurons using quantitative methods in Matlab IDE. Inspired by research project, he started his entrepreneurial path by founding his first company LimeJam, at the age of 19, which specialized in a Big Data visualization. A company then moved to web development and is currently running consulting business focused on market analysis and branding.
Nikita Lukianets is mentoring startups in EastLabs technology accelerator in Kyiv and speaking at conferences on the topics of Design-Driven Innovation, TRIZ, Game Theory and User Experience. He also holds MBA degree in design & innovation from School of Management of Politecnico di Milano.
