Nicklas Jonsson is the CEO in bSafe / Bipper, Inc.
He has 17 years of experience from the mobile industry. Most recently, he served as Head of Global Partnerships for HTC where he had been scouting the best Silicon Valley companies, and building a global portfolio and product management team.
Before joining HTC Nicklas was the Head of Product Management at Sony Ericsson, with global responsibility for the profitability and margin of its global product portfolio. Within this role, he managed all Product Management and Business Development teams in Sweden, USA, China, Taiwan and Tokyo. During his 3 year tenure within this position, his team streamlined the product portfolio by cutting the number of active products in half, downsizing the organization from 100 to 45 employees and returning the portfolio to overall positive margins.
Prior to HTC, Nicklas worked for Ericsson and Sony Ericsson in the mobile phone industry. Between 1995 and 2008 he held leading positions in Supplier Quality Assurance, Mechanical Sourcing, ran Electronics and SW Sourcing globally, was the General Manager of Customer Portfolio Management for CEEMEA/APAC and helped build a 1300 employee strong Global Launch Management organization as deputy head.
He has a Masters degree with specialization in production and quality control at Luleå Technical University in Sweden, with a second major in finance. He has also studied Manufacturing Management at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY.
