Nick Yecke is a Chicago based entrepreneur and co-founder of PVPower. Nick leads the product team and development of SolarBear, the web platform powering America’s solar installers.
Prior to starting PVPower Nick spent 10 years in Chicago’s digital marketing and technology community. Namely co-founding IP Pixel (now LiquidThread) in 2003, a Chicago-based digital creative and technology agency. At Pixel he was responsible for building Pixel as a standalone division of Starcom MediaVest Group, one of the world’s largest media agencies. Under Nick’s leadership the group delivered digital marketing and technology solutions for clients such as ESPN, Walgreens, Washington Mutual, Allstate, Sara Lee and PetSmart. With a 20+ person team, Nick was responsible for hiring, revenue, digital marketing strategy, client relationships and driving innovation on behalf of his clients.
Nick graduated from Miami University and began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in early 2001 before moving onto Starcom Worldwide within the interactive media department.
Nick is an entrepreneur at heart, starting his first business at age 17, a breakfast delivery service in the Detroit area.
He also has a keen interest in music, golf, the Green Bay Packers and his small, yet mighty, dog Willie.
