Niamh van Meines
Niamh van Meines has over 19 years of experience in many healthcare settings and in a variety of clinical, educational and regulatory compliance roles. She has been a successful member of the leadership team as vice president of clinical development in a busy New York City hospice.
She is a board certified adult and oncology nurse practitioner and graduate of Columbia University’s Nurse Practitioner Program. She has expertise in clinical program development and successfully developed a nurse practitioner program, a complex case management program, on call services and integrative services in hospice settings. Educational initiatives include development of clinical manuals for orientation, clinical departments and members of the clinical team which include process, protocols, policy and procedure manuals, case manager guidelines and documentation guidelines. Compliance initiatives include the development of compliance programs, audits and audit tools to assess documentation, risk areas, areas of need and compliance with the conditions of participation for hospice and home care. She has successfully developed performance improvement initiatives and is experiences in chart reviews and response to additional documentation requests.
