Neil has over 15 years leadership experience building global companies in the entertainment, mobile and technology industries. He has structured partnerships with companies including Facebook, Google, and Cisco, as well as telcos, MSO’s, application developers, sports leagues and media conglomerates (studios, networks & cable channels) worldwide.
Prior to becoming CEO at Handmade Mobile, Neil oversaw corporate development and sales at SayNow. In less than two years, he helped grow the company from a Silicon Valley startup to the leading social, voice-based entertainment platform culminating in a sale to Google.
Before joining SayNow, Neil was COO at Akimbo where the board of directors (Kleiner Perkins, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, AT&T, Cisco) backed Neil’s vision to transform the company from set-top box content distributor to a SaaS based platform, enabling major content providers to monetize their assets on the web.
As Co-founder of On Demand Media Group, Neil launched VOD, IPTV, & mobile services with cable, telco & internet companies worldwide.
At Diva, the 1st commercially deployed VOD service in the US, Neil oversaw all entertainment & licensing aspects of the company. Neil was part of senior management, growing the company to over 300 employees and raising over $500m.
Neil began his career at Warner Bros., where he served as Director of Worldwide Acquisitions. He is a frequent invited speaker at industry events such as Digital Hollywood, Always On, and Mipcom. He is often quoted in the entertainment and media industry trades as an expert on the future of television.
In addition to his business experience, Neil has a deep understanding of the creative process having served as a writer and producer of film and television properties for studios and networks (JJ Abrams, ABC, Warner Bros., Fox Family, Saban).
