Navin Thukkaram is Chief Operating Officer and on the Board of Directors of Qwiki, Inc., as well as an angel investor in technology companies.
Previously, Mr. Thukkaram was Director and the #2 investment professional of Vulcan Capital Private Equity, the private equity firm owned by Microsoft co-founder, Paul G. Allen. At Vulcan, Mr. Thukkaram served on the boards of Vulcan Energy Corporation (General Partner of Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. (NYSE: PAA), a $15BN public company) and Vulcan Resources Florida.
Mr. Thukkaram is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He has represented the United States in foreign policy forums as a guest of the governments of Sweden (2011), Canada (2010), Malaysia (2009), and Japan (2007).
Mr. Thukkaram is the benefactor of the Navin Thukkaram ‘03 Fellowship at Harvard Business School. He has spoken on the topics of technology and investing at various institutions, including Columbia Business School and the University of Chicago.
Mr. Thukkaram holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSE, cum laude, from Princeton University.
