Navarrow Wright is the CEO of Global Grind. Navarrow partnered with Hip Hop Mogul, Russell Simmons to start Global Grind, which Simmons sits on the board of.
As CEO, Wright oversees strategic development, as well as setting the editorial tone and direction of Global Grind. Navarrow has recently appeared on Run’s house, Irv Gotti’s show Gotti’s Way and the Steve Harvey radio show.
Before joining Global Grind, Wright was SVP of Technology for Medical Broadcasting Company, a division of the Internet marketing firm Digitas Inc. Prior to that, he served as CTO of Viacom’s BET Interactive. At BET.com he created and implemented new technologies helping grow the Web site 300%, making it the leading entertainment online destination for African Americans.
Navarrow is rated as one of the leading technology experts in Internet and media. He speaks to various youth groups to promote African Americans within technology. With more than 13-years experience in the technology and media industry, Wright has an excellent track record in conceptualizing and developing advanced technology solutions for leading global organizations.
Wright holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Rider University; one in Accounting the other in Computer Information Systems and Accounting. Wright currently resides in New Jersey with his wife Rita and their four children.
Although Mr. Wright has spoken on several panels and to established executives, his true passion is connecting with today’s youth to show them the benefits and the opportunities available to them in the field of technology.
