Nate has been a leader in software development for more than 10 years. As a founder and CTO of Userplane, Nate architected and built one of the largest live communication networks through Userplane's widely distributed Flash applications. After Userplane was bought by AOL, Nate stayed on for a time before leaving to be the founding CTO at Tsavo Media. Nate is recognized as a software industry visionary, presenting at conferences including Macromedia Max and Flash Forward. Nate now resides in Portland, Oregon with his wife and children.
