Natala Menezes is the former Director of Product Management at TeachStreet - a locally focused vertical search engine connecting teachers with new students. In this role she focuses on taking new products to market, defining a customer-centric product strategy and overall search experience. Previously, Natala was at Microsoft where she launched the self-serve ad platform (adCenter) and their contextual advertising offering, Content Ads. Prior to joining Microsoft, Natala was a member of the Strategic Partnerships group at Google managing a variety of their syndication partnerships. Before she jumped into Technology, Natala worked in non-profits for the AIDS Memorial Quilt and Silicon Valley based non-profit start-up Kids in Common.
A recognized leader in the Search industry, Natala is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where she received a BA in Philosophy. Natala splits her time between the foggy airports of San Francisco and Seattle.
