Nat Burgess is an investment banker, lawyer, angel investor and strategy consultant who focuses on software and Internet M&A transactions. Nat started his career with Morgan Stanley in Tokyo, and has also worked for Activision in on-line business development, and interned with the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission with a mandate to analyse the application of legacy security regulations on Internet-based securities offerings. Nat Burgess was lead advisor in the sale of Caligari to Microsoft, emBoot to DoubleTake, Calendra to BMC, and dozens of other transactions, most of which are listed in the “transactions” tab at www.natburgess.com. He is an investor and/or advisory board member at Cequint, PicNik, SiteScout, C-Mail and several other early-stage companies. He is Executive Vice Presidnet at the Corum Group, Chairman of the World Financial Symposiums, and founder of Techmergers.
