Nand Mulchandani is the CEO of OpenDNS as of November, 2008.
Prior to starting at OpenDNS, Mulchandani was the Senior Director of Product Management and Marketing at VMware, responsible for security strategy, product management, and security marketing.
Nand was previously Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Determina Inc., which was acquired by VMware in August 2007. Prior to this role, Nand was the founding CEO of Determina where he lead the company from inception to early revenue stage. Prior to Determina, Nand was co-founder and VP Product Management at Oblix (acquired by Oracle), where he helped guide the company to a leadership position in the Identity & Access Management market.
Prior to Oblix, Nand was at Sun Microsystems, working on compilers and optimization, including work on the first Java compilers.
Nand received a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from Cornell University.
