Molly Parsley is currently the Communications Director at San Francisco-based ad agency Pereira & O’Dell. Among the client roster are Corona, Coda Automotive, LEGO, Muscle Milk, Ubisoft and University of Phoenix. In September 2009, her agency was named Advertising Age’s Small Agency of the Year, West Coast and featured in 7x7 Magazine’s Hot 20 List in October 2009.
Previously, Molly was the Marketing & PR Director at AKQA working closely with CEO, Tom Bedecarre. Her efforts during her five year tenure facilitated many of the agency’s accolades including “Agency of the Year†wins from Advertising Age, Adweek, OMMA and SHOOT Magazines as well as Creativity’s first-ever Interactive Agency of the Year. AKQA was also named in Fast Company’s “Fast 50”, featuring the world’s 50 most innovative companies.
Prior to AKQA, Molly was the Marketing & PR Manager at internet advertising firm Lot21 and worked closely under the direction of Kate Everett-Thorp, building Lot21’s solid reputation in Emerging Technologies. When Lot21 was acquired by Carat Interactive in January 2002, she then had opportunity to work with Sarah Fay to leverage the agency’s unique combination of media and creative capabilities.
