Mohd Farouk is the founder of TapTricks and Ummah Apps which specialises in mobile applications.
TapTricks is focused in delivering new technology apps such as accelerometer and GPS tracking apps.
Ummah Apps is more focused for Muslims which cover a variety of aspects from supplication to events. More recently, Ummah Apps was featured in BBC’s tv show Click. This is to showcase successful apps like MosqueSG and RamadanSG which were well received by the Muslim society in Singapore. These apps also attracted other interviews ranging from Singapore’s dominant paper - The Straits Times and also Suria which is a channel of MediaCorp, Singapore’s main media network.
