Miral Sattar is passionate about new media and mobile technologies.
She is currently the founder of the Divanee South Asian Media Network, a multi-platform (websites, blogs, mobile apps, ipad apps, ebooks) network of sites targeted towards South Asian women.
Previously, Miral was a programmer for Upoc Networks, a mobile community platform, and also developed content management tools for media companies like BBCAmerica.com.
In parallel Miral is also working at TIME.com where some of her duties have included: migration of cms systems, SEO strategy, multimedia implementation development and strategy, blog strategy and implementation, mobile strategy and implementation, launch of mobile apps (iphone and android), SEO strategy.
Miral holds a B.S. from Columbia University in Computer Engineering and is currently pursuing a M.S. from NYU in Digital Media.
