Mike Ward joined Infinia in April 2011 as Chief Executive Officer and was appointed President and CEO in March 2012. Prior to joining Infinia, Mr. Ward served as President of Autoliv, ASP Inc., a division of Autoliv, Inc. (NYSE: ALV), the global leader in automotive occupant safety solutions. With responsibility for the Americas, one of the company’s largest operating divisions, Mr. Ward led more than 13,000 employees producing $2.1 billion in revenue. He had previously served as the president for the North American region; and during his 25-year tenure played key engineering, sales, and operating roles as Autoliv successfully pushed for industry-wide adoption of airbag systems. Mr. Ward was inducted into the prestigious Shingo Academy in 2010 for his longtime commitment to implementing lean principles driving operational excellence. Mr. Ward holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and Louisiana State University, respectively.
