Mike Sawyer

Mike Sawyer is the founder of ShopNow, an early stage startup focused on local shopping guides and mobile retail search.

Prior to ShopNow, he was VP of Marketing for Cotendo, a site acceleration service provider (funded by Sequoia Capital and Benchmark Capital), and and VP of Marketing for Limelight Networks, a global provider of content delivery services for digital media (IPO 2007).

Prior experience includes Senior Vice President, Marketing at Aerocast, a secure broadband streaming media services company (funded by Motorola and Liberty Media); VP Marketing for Entera, a developer of intelligent network infrastructure (acquired by CacheFlow); Director of Products at hosting provider GlobalCenter (acquired by Frontier); and product roles at Internet technology companies NetObjects (via SiteMatic acquisition) and NetManage (via AGE Logic acquisition).
