Mike is the CTO & Co-Founder @ RatePoint - a company building a model to allow businesses to collect, promote and leverage consumer based feedback & reviews with strong social aspects.
Mike started his career in manufacturing at American Power Conversion (APC), while there found a love for all things electrical & network engineering related. He then proceeded to found one of Rhode Island’s earliest ISPs (NetSense) with his brother in-law and had an great time learning & building this company.
After NetSense Mike founded two companies which focused on AS/400 services & web application development as well as managed VPN services with a strong focus on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technologies. Then on to GeoTrust where he along with a great team made GeoTrust into an SSL powerhouse which was later acquired by VeriSign in September 2006.
