Mike Rogers

Mike is a Technical Operations director with around 20 years experience of running and scaling internet hosted services and online communities.

Trained as a software engineer in the telecomms industry he spent most of the 90s in internet start ups including CIX and Demon Internet. As Technical Director at Netbenefit he helped take the company to stock market listing, co-founded Redbus Interhouse and did stints as tech director of Tiscali and ClaraNet UK.

Mike’s specialisms are the rapidly scaling infrastructures, acquisitions and technical consolidations/integrations and low cost high reliability Unix/Linux FOSS solutions

For the last 2 years he’s run a geographically distributed devops team at Woo Media Inc managing the operation and scaling of the infrastructure.
