Mike Petit is a co-founder and the Chief Information Officer of OpenAmplify, an international software concern (www.openamplify.com). OpenAmplify maintains offices in the United States, in London, and in Stockholm.
Mike has pursued a career in information technology and marketing since his entry into the workforce in 1979. A graduate of Vassar College, he has concentrated upon the application of Natural Language Processing to the explosion of user-generated content on the Internet.
Mike’s efforts have helped OpenAmplify secure 12 patents with more pending, and his leadership in the creation of the groundbreaking OpenAmplify web service has been instrumental. Mike is an emerging thought leader in the Semantic Web space.
Mike resides in Annapolis, MD.
