Mike Periu is a bilingual executive with experience in personal finance, entrepreneurship and small business management.
He is the founder of EcoFin Media, LLC, a leading provider of financial literacy content for television, radio, print and online distribution.
He is the financial expert on Univision’s award-winning morning show Despierta America and has been interviewed over 300 times in national and international media, including CNN en español and several appearances on Al Punto with Jorge Ramos.
Mike is also a business leader in the Hispanic community using his extensive experience to inspire and motivate aspiring entrepreneurs. He s the founder and a director of the New Business Institute which provides training and professional services to entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Mike authors the fast-growing multimedia Spanish-language financial blog DINEROyCREDITO.com and he writes a nationally syndicated Spanish-language financial advice column of the same name.
Prior to his work in personal finance and entrepreneurship, Mike co-founded Proximo International, LLC, Trans 24/7 and Posip, Inc.
Mike has degrees in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University.
