Mike Pacifico is the founder of Pawsley, a social networking and social shopping site targeting a unique affinity group.
Mike founded and self-funded Pawsley, which launched in March 2011. The platform is designed to monetize a niche market segment by providing a rich, interactive advertising and promotional channel to relevant vendors. Prior to Pawsley, and concurrent with his attendance at Columbia Business School, Mike was a consultant (finance and business development) at MeeGenius, a digital media and publishing platform.
Before attending graduate school, Mike spent four years as an investment banker in the business services and media group at BMO Capital Markets in New York City. While at BMOCM, Mike was involved in numerous transactions (M&A advisory, debt, equity) totaling over $1 billion.
A web and social media junkie, Mike loves to surf, play with his awesome dog, and dabble in the blogosphere. Woof!
Mike earned his BBA from Emory University in 2004, and his MBA from Columbia Business School in 2010.
