Before joining UBmatrix, Mike held the position of Vice-President and Corporate Controller at the publicly held companies of P-COM and Aviron. Mike’s recent experience also includes taking privately-held companies public, Threshold (THLD) and Genitope (GTOP). He was essential in coordinating the sale of Aviron to Medimmune and has led public companies in meeting Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Mike’s early career experience includes public accounting at KPMG and 11 years in various accounting and leadership roles for United Technologies (Fortune 100). He is both a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor and recently published “Benefits of XBRL for Finance Executivesâ€.
