Mike Hudack is a co-founder of blip.tv and serves as the companyâ€™s President and CEO. As CEO Mike is responsible for establishing blip.tvâ€™s vision, strategy and culture.
Mike is a high school drop-out who began his start-up career at a small Internet security and privacy company in Connecticut at the age of sixteen. After that first job, Mike moved to New York City and worked for a variety of companies such as Time Inc. and the National Hockey League as a software developer and systems administrator.
In addition to his passion for independent media, Mike is also fascinated by art and design, politics and international relations. He maintains a blog at mhudack.com.
Mike has spoken at the National Association of Television Production Executives, SXSW, Streaming Media West, the Open Media Developers Summit, TelcoTV and dozens of other conferences around the world. Mike has also served as a guest speaker at universities such as NYU on the subjects of video, blogging and citizen journalism. Mikeâ€™s independent projects have been covered by the Washington Post, USA Today, the PBS Newshour, NPR and Forbes, among others.
