Mike Cichon
Mike Cichon is Principal and founder of Highcliff Search Engine Marketing, a digital marketing agency. He is a Silicon Valley marketing veteran with over 20 years of combined Sales and Marketing experience in both large and small organizations.
Prior to forming Highcliff SEM, Mike served as the digital marketing practice director at etc…group, inc. and with Moreland Associates as a leader in digital marketing services delivery. He has also served in director roles at Arena Solutions, Ketera, Helpstream, and Oracle.
Prior to his 3 years with Oracle, Mike managed the market launch of the Spend Analytics solution at Aspect Development (acquired by i2). Earlier in his career, Mike served in sales and consulting roles with Marcam and Pansophic (Acquired by CA), and he was an early member of the product development team at System Software Associates (SSA Global). He has spent most of the past decade working with numerous venture-backed startups to bring innovative products to market. He has focused exclusively on cloud-based solutions since 2006.
Mike is experienced at working across highly distributed product and sales teams to untangle difficult technical issues and synthesize complex information into coherent messaging / positioning. He combines an excellent tactical skill set with a big picture perspective to provide clients with progressive strategies custom tailored to their needs.
His current passion is marketing through digital channels for which he holds multiple industry certifications.
Mike is a graduate of Purdue University, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math / Computer Science.
He resides in San Jose, California. When he is not busy with all things digital, he enjoys camping, hiking, skiing and beach time with his wife and two children.
