Mike Cichon is a demand generation specialist with extensive expertise in SEO, SEM, social media and email marketing, primarily for b2b companies. He is passionate about using the Web to generate brand awareness and establish marketing as a function within the organization that is both highly measurable and directly linked to revenue generation. He is currently Director of Online Marketing at KANA Software.
Combined with significant work in product marketing, Mike has over 20 years of marketing experience with several high technology companies ranging from early start-ups to industry-leading, multi-national companies.
Prior to KANA, Mike was the founding partner of Highcliff Search Engine Marketing, a digital marketing agency. He also served as the digital marketing practice director at etc Group, a boutique marketing and creative service agency, and as a leader of the Marketo deployment team at Moreland Associates. He has also served in director roles at Arena Solutions, Ketera, Aspect Development (I2), and Oracle.
Earlier in his career, Mike served in sales and consulting roles with Marcam and Pansophic (Acquired by CA), and he was an early member of the product development team at System Software Associates (SSA Global).
Mike is a graduate of Purdue University, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math / Computer Science.
