Michele Turner is an experience mobile and web product and marketing executive. Currently Chief Marketing Officer at mBlox, a leading global provider of mobile communications and payments infrastructure, Turner is responsible for product strategy and management, product and corporate marketing, and carrier relations.
As vice president of the Platform Business Unit at Adobe Systems, Turner was responsible for product management, product marketing, and developer relations for Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Flex, ColdFusion and Adobe AIR. The Platform Business Unit is charged with advancing the company’s rich Internet application (RIA) technology platform for the creation and delivery of engaging applications and content to across desktops, operating systems and devices.
Turner has more than 20 years of experience in high-tech product marketing, product development and business management. She joined Adobe in 2006 following two years as a principal at Strategic Instinct consulting where she worked with several Web 2.0 and search startups, including Kaboodle, Kosmix, KnowNow and Wink. Before moving into consulting, she served as vice president of product marketing and design at Netflix. Earlier in her career, she was senior vice president for product marketing at America Online where she helped drive product strategy, definition, and delivery of AOL’s Advanced Communications, Personalization, Mobile Portal and Netscape product lines. She was also senior vice president of product at Excite@Home and held a number of management positions at Silicon Graphics.
