Micheál Byrne is the the owner and managing director of Passive Development.
Passive Development Ltd was set up by Micheál Byrne in September 2007. The motivation for starting the company was due to the lack of practical knowledge and application of building techniques to achieve a Passive House in Ireland. Passive Development Ltd then built its first house in County Kildare, Ireland.
Passive Development Ltd has sustained well in the current economic climate and has since expanded into the United Kingdom. Passive Development Ltd started as a construction company, however, due to requests from clients Passive Development Ltd has now decided to also offer consultancy and education on Passive House Design.
