Michael Weinberg is a Russian-born Israeli-Canadian technology consultant and entrepreneur.
Currently based in Toronto Canada, Michael is consulting to local clients in the areas of innovative software development and system architecture.
He is also involved in a number of independent projects in the areas of consumer Web, Social, Mobile and TV applications.
Michael is a Co-Founder of Kenlo Group - a company developing innovative web and mobile applications. While at Kenlo, Michael was instrumental in launching Kenlo Shopping - a leading Israeli Web & Mobile shopping search engine. Kenlo Shopping indexes hundreds of e-tailer websites and presents the information via futuristic RIA and Mobile applications. Michael departed from Kenlo Group in the beginning of 2009.
Prior to Kenlo, Michael has spent 8 years at NDS - a worldwide leader in digital pay-TV solutions. While at NDS, Michael held a number of software development, architecture and management positions and helped create innovative technologies for delivering digital content to TVs, Set-Top boxes, PCs and Mobile devices. His contribution and achievements were recognized by a 2005 NDS CEO Award (Outstanding Technical Contribution).
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science, both from The Hebrew University - the #1 ranked university in Israel. While at the Hebrew U, Michael conducted research and published scientific papers in the area of distributed artificial intelligence.
Michael regularly volunteers in community computer classes, helping kids and senior citizens acquire Computer and Internet skills.
