Michael Souza has led sales since joining Zoom Information in early 2003. Under his aggressive leadership, sales doubled in his first two years with the company, and have grown by at least 40% year-over-year thereafter.
Prior to joining Zoom Information, Souza held several sales management positions for Lycos, most recently leading the International Sales team, where he was responsible for working with Lycos’ joint venture partners around the globe to drive revenue to the U.S. site. Prior to that, Souza directed the top regional sales team at Lycos, accounting for over half of the total recognized revenue of four regional teams in 2000. Before Terra Lycos, Souza held various sales and sales management positions at Atlantic Components, a regional distributor of electro-mechanical components. Souza has been a contributing presenter and a member of the American Management Association. In December of 2006, ZoomInfo was honored with the “Stevie Award”, presented by Selling Power Magazine, as the 2006 Software Sales Organization of the Year.
Souza holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Ithaca College.
