Michael Schneider is an attorney in the Seattle office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Michael’s practice focuses primarily on technology-related transactions and Internet and intellectual property-related issues.

Michael counsels clients in a variety of rapidly developing areas of the law, including DMCA safe harbor compliance, user-generated content issues, widget development and licensing, management of online communities, targeted advertising, and open-source licensing. Michael also works with clients to develop defensive and offensive intellectual property strategies, including assessing the value and timing of seeking trademark, copyright, patent, and trade secret protection.
