Michael Psarouthakis is the founder of the Antanda Foundation in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Antanda supports, accelerates, and contributes to the growth of early stage technology companies Michigan.
Previously Michael was the Vice President of Business Acceleration at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). He led a team that focused on and manages early stage investments in alternative and green energy solutions, IT, agricultural technologies, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, advanced materials and defense opportunities in Michigan. He conceived and launched and managed the Pure Michigan Venture Match Fund and also managed numerous other technology targeted investment programs at the MEDC. The portfolio Michael was responsible for had over 150 companies and approximately $240 million under management.
Michael has served on numerous boards (BOD and advisory) including Pixel Velocity, Nanocerox, ElectroJet, Compendia Biosciences, Genetics Squared, eBay (advisory, Paypal (advisory), Abebooks (advisory) and KTM Industries.
He has founded and continues to manage: Extraordinary Things LLC, Bookpoi.com, WahooDomains.com.
Michael has a BS in History and Political Science from Eastern Michigan University and MBA and MS degrees from the University of Michigan.
