Since 1993, Mr. Paolucci has founded and raised financing for startups in the New York area, including Interactive Imaginations, Inc, and 24/7 Real Media, Inc (TFSM), which sold to WPP Group in 2007. During that time Mr. Paoluccci pioneered the interstitial ad and the first demographically targeted internet ad format.
In 2002, Mr. Paolucci founded Slooh.com, the leading internet astronomy community, featuring access to live telescopes around the globe. Mr. Paolucci is founder and CEO of Solvate, a venture backed start-up that delivers administrative assistance to independent operators.
In 2007 he founded StartupExchange, where founders of venture-backed startups can pool equity to diversify their equity holdings. He is on the steering committee of the Small Business Majority, a national nonprofit organization of business entrepreneurs working to ensure prosperity in the 21st century economy by building a politically aware and active community of small business leaders. Mr. Paolucci graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Economics, and sits on the advisory board of DFJ Gotham Fund I.
