Michael Liebow

As an independent Board Member for newScale, he positioned the company as the leader in private cloud management and automation, hired the banker and ran herd as the board’s transaction lead to its successful exit to Cisco.

As the CEO of Dexterra, an early innovator in enterprise mobility applications, Liebow drove its merger with Antenna Software to become the undisputed leader.

As a senior executive at IBM Global Services, he started the SOA-based IT infrastructure business and grew revenues to well over $4 billion in four years by creating a diverse portfolio of asset-based solutions and training 90,000 consultants worldwide to guide the transition.

Liebow ran strategy and market development for IBM’s Intel Server business, transforming that product line from a $900 million industry laggard to a $3 billion industry leader in 3 years. He created the brand’s technology blueprint, called it X-architecture, and take pleasure in seeing the concept endure some 12+ years later.

He lead P&L/general management efforts for a variety of technology and consumer companies including PanAmSat, a global satellite communications provider to the entertainment industry, Cadbury Schweppes, a global soft drinks company, and Loews Corporation.

Liebow has a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!).
