Michael Hoydich is a co-founder of Unknown Vector Inc., the parent company of uvLayer.
uvLayer redefines online video; with uvLayer users can easily manipulate their media, collect and publish to the web, and share videos with friends across their social networks, all via an intuitive drag and drop interface.
Michael is a serial entrepreneur who, along with co-founder Mark Gray, has started and led two different companies from 2004 to 2008: IndustryNext, a technology and design services firm, whose clients include Sony, NBA, AOL and NBC Universal; and Incognito Digital, an interactive marketing agency whose clients include OKI, SpeedTV and Haier.
Prior to IndustryNext, Michael was the VP of Sales at Viewpoint Corporation (now Enliven Marketing Technologies Corporation), where he helped launch online advertising as a viable business line and built a sales team from the ground up.
Michael has extensive experience in the publishing, online advertising, and high technology industries. He has held key positions at XCom (now USWeb), Ziff Davis, GeoCities (now Yahoo), Wise Ads New Media (now About.com), and iWon (now IAC).
Michael attributes a good portion of his industry success to his role as SysOp of DeathStar BBS, (which was run on his Atari 130XE with a 300 Baud Modem and 1 meg of storage).
