Squrl is the product of the 15 years industry experience of Mark Gray and Michael Hoydich. More directly it was spun out of our seven-year experience delivering technically challenging, visually compelling, video-centric software at IndustryNext.
IndustryNext was founded in 2004 to address the emerging software challenges facing large technology and media-and-entertainment companies. Our work designing and developing software for companies like AOL, Microsoft, eBay, NBC, MTV, and Comcast has focused on engaging consumers across the spectrum of platforms. We have delivered multiple media player and internet-delivered TV projects, and our last project focused on building the software framework for delivering a dynamic presentation layer to IP set-top boxes.
